THE NORFOLK SMALL CHARITIES SHOWCASE - 22nd April 2023 in The Forum, Norwich.

  2. Do you want a free stand in The Forum, Norwich to promote your services, attract new volunteers, or donations?, 
  3. Do you want to learn new skills in Volunteer Recruitment, Fundraising, Making the Most of Digital and Managing and Marketing Events? 

You only need to answer YES to one of these and this is the event for you.

The Norfolk Small Charities Showcase 2023 is the chance to show off many of the hidden secrets of Norfolk's voluntary and community sector in a high profile public event designed to support them in recruiting volunteers, finance and support, whilst raising awareness of what they do and how they help their local communities.

This event has two parts - an exhibition to provide Norfolk's small charities with a showcase opportunity to promote themselves and their services and a series of workshops to support small charities in Norfolk.

The ground floor of Norwich's iconic Forum building will feature promotional stands (09.00 - 16.30) from some of Norfolk's small charities (annual income under £250,000) whilst on the first floor we will host free workshops supporting the following themes; Fundraising, Volunteer Recruitment and Retention, Making digital services work for you, plus Managing Community Events.

The workshop programme is as follows:

10.00 - 11.00 Fundraising

11.15 - 12.15 Making Digital Services Work for You

13.30 - 14.30 Volunteer Recruitment and Retention

14.15 - 15.15 Managing Community Events

The event will be FREE to attend for members of the public, and FREE for small charities hosting a stand (who will pay a £10 deposit refundable after attendance), and FREE workshops (also booked via a £10 deposit, refundable after attendance.)

The Norfolk Small Charities Showcase event is being organised, funded and hosted by The Kearns Foundation, formed in 2007 to promote the positive impact of community involvement and with a track record of supporting young people and community volunteers, and community organisations through its small grants programme, community support programme and residential centre in North Norfolk. 

This event is supported by the Empowering Communities Partnership comprising Community Action Norfolk, Norfolk Community Foundation, and Voluntary Norfolk - all of whom will be present to share their knowledge, experience and services for smaller charities in Norfolk.
